Kenny & Sons works out of a shop at 150 McKay Loop Rd in Pennfield, and Charlotte County is our normal week. That's the whole idea. A plumber who lives where you live already knows the water, the well systems, the older cottage plumbing, and what a New Brunswick winter does to a line running through an uninsulated crawl space.
Below are the communities we work in most. Each one has its own quirks, so each one gets its own notes. What doesn't change is the rest of it: licensed and insured work, priced up front, tested before we pack the truck.

Plumbing in St. George runs two different ways depending on where you are. A house that has been added to and re-plumbed over the years can have copper, galvanised steel and plastic all meeting behind one wall, with shut-off valves that no longer shut anything off. Whether you're on a municipal line or a drilled well changes the answer again.
Renovation work suits us well here — a bathroom stripped back to the studs, a kitchen moved to the other wall, a laundry hook-up put in where there never was one. Salt air is hard on anything metal that lives outdoors or in a damp basement. Outside taps seize, hose bibs split after a hard frost, and exposed fittings in an unheated crawl space give up sooner than they would further inland. If your place sits close to the water, having the outdoor lines drained and shut off properly before winter is cheap insurance.

If your place in Beaver Harbour is a camp or cottage rather than a year-round house, the plumbing year comes down to two dates: the day it goes back on in spring and the day it gets shut down in fall. Winterising properly — draining the lines, blowing them out, antifreeze in the traps, the pump shut off and bled — is what keeps you from finding a split pipe behind the wall in May.

When a house makes its own water, the pump and the pressure tank are the whole system. No water at all usually traces back to one of three things — the pump, the tank, or the pressure switch — and knowing which one before anybody starts digging saves you money. We repair and replace all three.
Well water brings its own list. Iron and manganese stain fixtures and laundry, hard water scales up a water heater and shortens its life, and some wells need UV or filtration to be right. We handle the treatment side as well as the pipes. Properties around Lepreau tend to sit well apart from one another, so give us as clear a description as you can over the phone and we'll come loaded for the job.

St. Andrews has a good deal of older housing stock, and an old house is rarely plumbed all at once. A section gets replaced when it fails, then another ten years later, and you end up with three or four eras of pipe in one basement and valves nobody has turned in decades.
Work in a finished home like that has to be done carefully — open as little as possible, protect the floors, match the new work to what's already there, and leave the place tidy. Seasonal properties are the other half of it: opened in spring, drained and shut down in fall, and looked over before the family arrives. Give us as much notice as you can for St. Andrews and we'll book it into the run.
